Centauri Markets is a South African business owned and operated by 3 experienced partners and our network of senior associates across the world, allowing us a global reach. We help successful South African companies and entrepreneurs to unlock the value in their enterprises, via access to foreign investors and overseas listings on U.S. and European markets. In general terms, South African companies, even those with a track record of successful management and growth, can find themselves undervalued when it comes to capital raising or IPO valuation in South Africa compared to their foreign peer group. In addition and particularly in the case of small cap enterprises, liquidity on South African (JSE) stock exchange platforms can be thin, making it more difficult for these smaller companies to access both debt and equity capital markets on competitive terms. Centauri Markets acts as a Private Equity investor and Corporate Finance consulting firm to SMEs (Small to Medium Size Enterprises). Although Centauri is primarily based in South Africa, we have representation in the U.K. and Toronto, Canada. Our institutional investor network covers Africa, North America and continental  Europe.
